The results are in, and I didn't do great by any means, but finishing was a nice confidence boost after the broken leg. I was lucky enough to have a friend to swim with (or behind), and we were even graced with the presence of some Olympians too. The Flowers Sea Swim is a pretty big event that's been held every year for the past 19 years and has been rated one of the 12 best open water swims in the world.
